Yet the first Wolverine movie somehow managed to be much, much worse.

I almost forgot about those bizarre, totally random theme weeks. What on earth was that all about?
Yeah, you can cancel it any time. I'm not positive about this but I believe that you could use a different e-mail address and get the trial again that way, I don't think it's necessarily tied to the credit card, so you could try that.
Really? I always thought Kiki's was a great dub, the best one of a Miyazaki movie next to Spirited Away. The Howl's Moving Castle and Princess Mononoke dubs are pretty lousy though. And are you referring to Phil Hartman's final role as a "waking nightmare"?
It's my least favorite Miyazaki movie next to Nausicaa and Porco Rosso, though I will say that Sophie is a really wonderful character and possibly his best heroine.
It looks like it'll probably be released on disc in about four months time. Plus you can always sign up for a free month trial, watch the episodes, and cancel after that. Not to mention that 8 bucks really wouldn't be that bad a price to pay to watch new Arrested Development.
@ComradeQuestions:disqus So they are, I'm kind of surprised they're releasing it so quickly. Hopefully they won't hang on to AD for longer.
Judging from their other original shows they're not, probably because they're trying to pull all their subscribers into watching instantly. You could just create a new account and use the free trial though?
What the hell is this ridiculous list? Has this site officially become Cracked now?
Nope. Netflix is the sole distributor since they're producing it.
My favorite part is where it just says "Another list from the AV Club." Is this the most shameless article since Dawes?
Seriously? I'm gay and have no clue how that's possible.
Family Tree has an 8 episode order, and this season of Veep will be 10 episodes long.
Sounds like it will be the other way around judging from the review.
There's no way this will be better than Hannibal or The Americans…
Yup, we all know Doctor Who has historically had a run of 4-8 episodes every year. Season 7's schedule actually very much resembled an American network schedule, just with the episode runs divided up very differently.
I enjoy your ranking system, and am appropriating it.
@avclub-cc0d9865e5284b52347fc0417b99b0c8:disqus Uh, it's a movie, not a book. He shouldn't be focusing on the verbal, but on communicating the book's language visually (and as much as I like the book, it is not at all subtle). I disliked the constant voiceover quoting the book, because it felt like he was shying away…
@Scrawler2:disqus I like Clara, mostly because of JLC's fantastic acting, but I sitll think she's the weakest companion because her personality is so unclear. As for Amy, I think we had a better understanding of her after "The Eleventh Hour" than we do of Clara at this point: no companion in the show's run has ever…
@avclub-64ad8f3af92ef8d9a1c7dfd7265e577d:disqus What are you doing watching Doctor Who if you haven't seen Buffy? You should definitely watch the rest of that show: pretty much everything NuWho attempts to do, Buffy does better.
