Thank goodness this feature exists to attract our attention to such little discussed shows as Fringe, which surely none of us would have ever heard of otherwise. At least time it for when the final season comes out on DVD if you're gonna pick something like that.

O'Neal's Newswires rarely make much sense by the time Friday rolls around. But we love them anyway.

Hey it's just called Jurassic Park, not Dinosaur Park. It would be pretty hilarious if no dinosaurs ever appeared in this movie.

Jurassic Park 3 was pretty lame, but I give it points for FINALLY featuring freaking pterodactyls. I have no clue what Spielberg thinking in not managing to fit in a pterodactyl set piece somewhere in his two movies about dinosaurs.

Jurassic Park 4: Rise of the Wooly Mammoth

Just read that review and…. what? How did he miss so many major plot points? And how can he possibly be a paid critic if he can't follow a simple movie?

I'm pretty sure she did not record that song specifically for Dragon Age II since it appeared on their first album two years before the game was released. Just an on the nose song choice. The lyrics to the song in this trailer are pretty insufferably obvious though.

I found Elijah Wood pretty distracting in Lord of the Rings (though I love those movies as much as the next guy) because I couldn't get the Elijah Wood-ness out of my head. I just absolutely do not buy him as a Hobbit, he's always the petulant,

I would say he was actually quite badly miscast in Spiderman: he looked way too old and seemed intent on playing him as a shy nerd instead of a kind of cool, kind of annoying, smart alecky-y teen. His voice was all wrong for it too, he's not very good at quipping and didn't project enough personality behind the mask.

That's some pretty twisted logic. If you don't think the critique of art contributes anything, why the hell are you on this site?

I thought Awake was a pretty great show, even the cases of the week were quite good and well done. I never got all the criticism, it had it's flaws but it was a nifty little procedural with a great surrealist hook, and a really tragic and emotional core. I also thought the final arc was well done and the finale was

God Hannibal Rising. I never saw the movie but was that book ever a piece of shit (and I was that guy who really liked the book Hannibal). I really wish Harris would write something non Lecter-related and not totally half assed, he's the only pulp/genre writer I really love.

Did no one notice the joke here?

History's greatest monster right here folks.

Eh, I lot of times those can be the most infuriating movies: the ones where you know that the director was competent (or even masterful) knew exactly what he was doing and accomplished it, but you're turned off by those very decisions. I enjoyed this movie (though found it a bit overhyped) but I could someone

The stuff with Hayley's parents had been set up previously, but having the character return for no real reason and suddenly have this relationship with Klaus was a pretty big reach, and a lot of the set up for this situation apparently happened offscreen. Also with Klaus mooning over Carolien the whole season

Oh yeah I forgot about that, it's the other big Sunday night staple (not that I ever watch any of those shows).

Confused about the Sunday night comment: as far as I knew quality cable dramas and network soaps are the only game in town on Sundays. But of course Amelie managed to find a reality show in there to watch instead.

I don't think it would qualify as an original screenplay actually, since it's credited as being based on the book "Nightmare of Ecstasy".
