Yeah I get a little annoyed when people complain about stuff that this show and Lost left dangling, but then don't acknowledge that they provided some kinds of answers to most of the important stuff. They weren't always deep or mindblowing, but I did think they wrapped the Samantha stuff up reasonably well and the

Very true: I really hate Amor Fati II but that scene almost redeems it. Unfortunately it's the only part of the episode that I can stand. Scully really makes everything better: almost all my least favorite episodes of the show are ones that sideline her (also probably why Amor Fati Part I is the only episode of this

Yeah this is a pretty shitty arc: I think the only worse one is that super soldier crap in the last season. I think I even enjoyed that season 9 two parter that brings this storyline back up more than this one (though I've only seen those ones one time and barely remember them). As meandering as this season is, I'm

I never know to feel about that one. One the one hand the Buddhism stuff is ridiculous and Scully is weirdly out of character the whole episode (it feels like Gillian Anderson wrote the character based on herself rather than the character we see in the other episodes), and there's a shitload of weird retconning about

Huh, I quite liked the ending of Awake. Then again there was something I just adored about the show, I didn't even mind the weaker filler eps because I just loved the atmosphere, visual scheme, and most of all Jason Isaacs' fantastic performance (the whole cast was good really). I enjoyed the headtrippiness of the

Yeah how is it possible for it to have been only one year? It HAS to have been at least a year and a half: Season 1 began with the summer ending and the characters beginning their junior years, and when season 3 started it was the next summer. I think that was the last indicator of the timeline though. This show has a

I think that's really just a consequence of covering more shows. And it's hard to argue that the coverage of 666 was as interesting as that of 2BG. I will be sorely disappointed if Enlightened gets dropped though (and where are those Babylon 5 write ups?).

This is true, but it would be nice if they at least gave a shoutout for some of the less popular/notorious shows: that's a big part of what made me love this site in the first place. If not for this place I would never have started watching The Vampire Diaries, Community, or possibly even Breaking Bad.

How come the Enlightened trailer didn't get posted? That show could use the publicity: it's so much better than Girls, and every episode was pretty much perfect but it got almost zero recognition. It boggles my mind that it got no Emmy nominations for the outstanding acting and direction (not to mention Mike White's

I hate how the AVC never tells you exactly when the Classic writeups are coming back (and when they do they often don't come back till later). The writeups of Babylon 5 season 2 were supposed to happen weeks ago and still have yet to appear. I know they're not a priority but if you're watching along it's nice to know

Wow that's a shockingly good impression. Especially that last sentence.
