what's the over under
for whether it's real chess played in this movie, or does someone move a pawn sideways and the other person says, "oh you're doing bonnetti's attack!" then the other person says, "i thought suiting for this rocky terrain."

what the shit are you people talking about? are there two versions of this movie, where one of them is not a ponderous exercise in nonsense? 'cause if that's so, then i definitely saw the wrong one. i saw the one where the main poet dies, then sean penn kneels by his grave and starts waxing poetic, and i thought,

points to you, explodingbarrel, for bringing free will vs predestination into this clip.

if you've been watching tristiac, these 4 minutes are pretty much exactly what you'd expect. the *boom* LOST moment comes later on, i guess.

agreed. when the episode was over, i rewound to watch that scene again.

firefly fan
as a matter of fact, i do feel good about myself! thanks to DVR i've never missed an episode of it, although whenever i do watch it, it's always on in the background while i do something else. most of it is not worth covering— except that "space cowboy" opening, that was worth covering. 'cause it made

"let me make this perfectly clear, 'i could give a shit about your happiness'." you tell 'em, pam; that was straight awesome.

GOOD ENOUGH!!

i hope they cover the 2nd american revolution
the *secret* one.

anything with john oliver is good. i'd watch my grandparents get it on if john oliver showed up in a bit part towards the middle and said something english.

@assless chaps

i'm pretty proud of our boys at the CTU writing circle. not only have they moved away from the "all women are evil or stupid" paradigm, they're doing a pretty good job of setting up a little bit of uncertainty re: jack's torture-o-rama.
