it ain't objectivism. objectivism explicitly rejects violence (defined as physical or fraud) against others, everything else is fair game.

as a former yellow cab driver, i approve of the TLC being the bad guys.

Wow.  Veep has certainly taken a serious turn in trying to portray the plans and failures of power players in Washington.  What happened to Julia Louis-Dreyfus, is she still there?

amen, dirtypasta.  i think that line and "that's just the divorce talking" were the lines of the night for me.

ditto.  i think what makes it sound like it might actually be a folksy expression is "butter".  if it had been something else, "sorry don't make the muffins shine" it just wouldn't be the same.

isaac coming back and casey coming back are in my top triumphant tv moments.  it is amazing to me how wrapped up emotionally i got in the lives of fictional beings— i still feel the twist of a knot in my stomach when i think of rebecca telling jeremy that she should tell dan, first.

you okay there, jeff?  everything all right?  you sure you're not mad about something else, and just blew up over something trivial/insignificant?  you can talk to us.

i'm with you.  i don't think i blame sally there, although i wouldn't go so far as giving her a gold star for behavior.

fair enough, although we never hear sachs say anything, so your reading of his could well be way off base.  but even if we luther show up to defend the confederate flag and it's proud tradition, with isaac simply demolishing him with his original Big Speech, i probably still wouldn't be able to get behind it.  i see

i didn't mean to imply that he pressured those other kids into it.  just that he let them do it.
