But then again she had that fantastic chemistry with Will (I don't mean it in a sexual way), and now he's gone.

I thought it was a Hannibal parody ))
I loved seeing Skinner in the second movie :) I actually never thought I'd be happy to see that character that much.
2 questions about Penny's acting career: Why doesn't she go to some professional development cources? And why doesn't she act in theatres?
I remember liking Sunshine days but I completely forgot Michael Emerson was in it. I guess it's because it aired in a pre-Lost era, I didn't know him back then.
I think it was Elsbeth's last episode in Season5. So I have no idea how Peter and co are going to come out clean of this situation with the ballot box without her…
I love Gillian Anderson but Crisis is such a network drama. And I don't mean it in a good way. There are just way too many clichés in it for me.
"a lot of judges thought that she should get 2 points less, not just one. But they were overridden".
Olympics in Beijing? Again? I don't know… China is so big and beautiful and they can't find another place?? I'm somewhat disappointed.
Perhaps you don't know how many experts were left speechless back then.
I see your point and I agree that there are bugs in the judging system. The Russians have been talking about it for years but nobody wanted to listen. Apparently people needed someone like Yuna Kim to loose because of the imperfect the judging.
I saw her skate this program before. This time in Sochi it seemed a lot better and more energetic. I cannot tell whether it was 18 points better though. To be honest I doubt that too… And yet I did like her performance. Even though I expected her to win by a smaller margin. Totally agree with you on your point about…
I don't know… I liked Gracie Gold a lot more than Ashley Wagner and really look forward to seeing her skate again.
That's figure skating. Someone is always at fault :) Russia also had its "Our athlet has been robbed!" moments, most recently when Plushenko lost to Lysacek 4 years ago. For some period of time practically the whole nation foolheartedly hated the judges :) But what happened happened.
By the way, if they give the…
About visas: That's not quite true. All you needed to get a visa to Russia during the Olympics was a ticket to some sport event. No invitation or even hotel confirmation was needed. You could get a visa in 10 days time or even on the application day (apparently by paying a higher visa fee).
Here in Russia Yulia is considered a more technical skater while Adelina is said to put more emotion in her performances. (But this is arguable). In any case in terms of artistry they are far belind both Kim Yuna and Carolina Kostner. I think it's so partly because of their age (Yulia is 15, Adelina is17).
Also, it's…
Costner was amazing but she chose to skate last season's program. You never win with your old program at the Olimpics. I'm sure it's not written in the Terms of participation, but everybody knows that. The Russian ice dancers Bobrova-Solovyev did that trick and their performance was really good, and yet they finished…
There is definately something wrong with judging in figure skating. But the thing is that not rewarding figure skaters for the risk that they take by learning and trying harder jumps and elements will kill this sport. We'll just return to the quad-less times, so to speak :) It's a double-edged sword
I'd say Virtue looks more like Katy Perry or Zooey Deschanel on ice
I always liked their relationship too but I hate that she is not with Cary.
Friends! At last! What took you so long to start covering it? :)
