“Eli, there’s a weird lady here to see you.” “Elsbeth, come on in!”

Me too ))

Oh my Gosh, Sonia, your last stray observation is awesome! I kinda like the show the way it is, but now that I think that Ryan may be hallucinating all of the characters in the study group, I find it way more entertaining :D

Ponor seemed so mad at Raisman for taking her bronze medal. I guess she just wanted to show the whole world that she is a great gymnast no matter what. And I really rooted for her. Sure she put personality, care, and thought into every move. In the end it's called artistic gymnastics, not acrobatics… But as you said,

I guess Viktoria Komova's winning mechanism broke the day she lost to Gabby Douglas… And yes, she did look like it was a win-or-die situation for her, poor girl. But she's so young, perhaps she'll get a second chance in Rio…

What about Dean Reed? He was super popular in the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and South America, but never achieved success in the U.S.
