I'd give it about a B-. Some parts were funny (and I almost always like an episode ending with all the characters in the same place), but the Jay-Gloria plot was pretty implausible. It's good that they didn't spend much time on it.

I was so ready to give this one a B- or B until those freakin' last five minutes. Probably one of the best endings in the history of TBBT.

1. S1 (9/10)
2. S2 (8/10)
3. S4 (8/10)
4. S3 (7.5/10)

The first half was pretty funny, the second half was somewhat disappointing. More of the Amy-Penny-Bernadette sub-plot would have made it a lot funnier, I think.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Sally seeing a BJ in "At the Codfish Ball."

I don't think episodes like "The Suitcase" and "The Wheel" mean that "Red in the Face" should only be a B or B+…AV Club should just bring back the A+.

Those shots in the advertising office with Blankenship's body being pushed in and out of the frame in the background were sublime.

Agreed…kind of like Donna Bowman with "Buy the RV, We Start Tomorrow" for 'Breaking Bad.'

Everywhere…EVERYWHEEEERRRRREEEE!

Did anybody else like "Repilot" almost just as much as "ITT?"

Yeah…I would give this one about a B or even B+. Sava was probably just in a bad mood.

I don't know if I'd give it an A-, but Zooey Deschanel crying over the dog is arguably the funniest scene of the entire series so far.

I wouldn't rate this an A, but just the last three minutes alone could make it at least a B+.

I would give this a B- or C+ (maybe the former, since I liked Amy and Sheldon's staircase conversation a lot). The main plot about Sheldon's significance to the supporting cast's lives was a great idea and gave this episode the potential to be one of the most interesting and emotional episodes of the series.

This episode had amazing cinematography. The shot of Walter hitting the tank and the subsequent close-up to him lying on the floor, the panning shot across the floor of the glass falling onto Walt.

B+.

I thought this was good, but not A-grade material. The last time this show scored a perfect A was in season two, but there are episodes from seasons three and four ("Lifetime Supply," "Bringing Up Baby") that were better than this.

I don't understand that either. Season three of MF isn't as good as season eight of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' (which it beat at the Emmys), and season two of MF isn't as good as season three of 'Parks and Recreation' (which it also beat).

I honestly agree with Sava on this one. There were barely any (if any) unfunny jokes that were overused, and the plots were a little smarter than the average BBT episode. It's also better when Sheldon is empathetic. Here it kind of made up for watching episodes of him being a complete jerk (the itchy sweater prank,
