The trailer paints it as a little too "coming of ageish" for my tastes (not that I don't like coming of age films, but it seems a little too cliched). "All the Young Dudes" playing throughout didn't help.

Looking back
Anyone notice in last episode that Alby told Dale something like "when you left that day, you looked back and I knew you cared." Then at the end of the episode, while Bill was walking away from Sissy Spacek, he looked back at her. Are they going to get it on?

Prediction
The bomb resets the time line and they all start back at LAX boarding the plane. But, even though it resets the time line, it doesn't change anyone's fate, so season 6 will just be season's 1-5 condensed, ending with the bomb going off again.

NBC f'ed up by forcing out Leno. He had the #1 late night talk show. Why force him out? My guess is that the suits thought Conan would be a future ratings draw. But I'm not sure that's the case.

By the way, Tom Waits needs to cover "Pants on the Ground." It must be done.
