ZebedeeDooDah - Fair enough, but I'm not sure what context you're really speaking about. If he was a mole (or attempted mole), I'm not sure how that matters.
To ZebedeeDooDah (sorry, I sort of had this figured out and then took a break from posting) - 2 men English-born men of Nigerian descent, both converts to Islam, murdered a soldier, tried to behead him, and then talked on camera about how they were fighting for Allah.
"After some recent unpleasantness" - that's one way to put it.
Beautifully done.
What if he did to a man whose size and strength was equal to that of the median woman? If women are equal to men, they're equal in every respect.
Way to stand up for equality.
Do you have that rare first draft of the Constitution with the word "suckers" in it?
Thanks for the shout-out to Airheads; I still love that movie.
Come on!
I think the old guys turning out to be Jerry and George's latter-day selves was the best part of that episode. Except for the housekeeper that didn't speak English; that was clearly the best part.
Don't forget Uncle Leo.
Absolutely. I always thought they'd make a handsomer mix.
Regarding #3: yes, that's a far more clearly-constructed version of what I meant to say.
Regarding the Raiders' drug use - Lyle Alzado was on the team then. He could have gotten Marino up to snuff.
Sorry for the lateness of my reply, but that picture is 15 kinds of awesome (3 of them aren't legal anymore and 2 have never been released on the American market). The Snake was Excellence incarnate.
My thing about the guys that did 2 sports in college is that it's cool, but it's not at the same level as Bo or Deion. A look at the guys who played minor league baseball could be interesting, especially if you got the players to open up about the difference in facilities and fan support.
Dan Marino's rumors have nothing on Ken Stabler's actual life. The less said about Todd Marinovich, the better.
Thank you, sir.
I have to say, I love the presentation of Al Davis as some sort of Michael Corleone with Pete Rozelle functioning as a Hyman Roth. I'd kill for a documentary on two-sport athletes, but other than Bo, who do you really have aside from Prime Time?
Ray Lewis won a fucking Super Bowl MVP and his inspirational speeches cause men to run through brick walls. Don't slander his name.
