Sad
I knew that Pixar's winning streak had to end eventually. I kinda hoped it would be because it set its sights too high and failed spectacularly. The streak ending because of Larry the Cable Guy is just so so sad.

His best work is as James the Actor on Saved by the Bell. Made him a comedy star to me.

Sappity Tappity was I think two weeks ago and ultra polarizing. I thought he was hilarious but I know a lot of people who HAAAAAATED that character.

I mean every episode of Arrested Development isn't an A+ but its impossible to say the show as a whole isn't an A+ in my opinion. Part of that is how short lived it is, so it never had anything like the last 2 seasons of Seinfeld (which are really good but not on a level with what came before) but threaten to bring

Even if Spader doesn't become the full time boss (and Tate would be good just because I really love David Brent/1st season Michael) he should at least become a recurring character of some sort. Because he was awesome.

Couldn't disagree with you more. This was the best of the season and one of the best of the series. It had everything! Everything!!!

"Damn. I didn't realize Community fans were so defensive."

I'm with the OP for the most part. I don't know that I think the show totally sucks at mixing emotion and comedy, but it can be pretty clumsy sometimes. And LloydBraun this argument has been made so many times but 30 Rock isn't a character based show, its a joke machine. It just doesn't attempt to mix emotion and

There have been a lot of people clamoring for a fresh perspective on Community for a while here so I don't know I'm fine with it (maybe because I'm one those people). He clearly doesn't have a problem with the core concept of the show seeing as how he said he likes it. I too like it. I don't think its the best show on

Parks and Rec mean spirited? Explain.

I too thought this episode was great and fully convinced me that this season has been a return to form for 30 Rock. Also why doesn't Michael Keaton have his own TV show yet? (I know, I know he was going to be Jack on Lost but that doesn't count)

I too have been watching it on Netflix and it holds up surprisingly well. Having only seen a few episodes here and there in syndication (the show ending when I was five and all) I never really could get a feel for it. But of all the the 80s sitcoms I've seen, and I've seen a surprising amount, it really feels like the

I like Community and all but I can think of 3 more essential comedies that have premiered since The Simpsons. Seinfeld, Arrested Development and The Office (UK) are all better comedies in my opinion. But I do have to agree with everyone on the Wire here as one of the shows that I'll show my kids (that I don't plan on

Chevy's face during the Glee parody is also pretty great.

This was the funniest episode of the season, but I think mixology is still my favorite of the season, which is odd, because normally when it comes to Community I'm firmly in the "be more funny" camp. But neither of them are as good as Modern Warfare.

Liking both Modern Family and Parks and Rec (Parks and Rec being the superior of the two but still) I'm glad they aren't on at the same time so I can watch them both, so there is no need for one to beat the other to a bloody pulp. So I guess what I'm saying is your obvious trolling is more pointless that normal

I in some ways get get the focus on Tiger, because he is the person who is going to bring in the huge ratings. But Jim Nantz is honestly one of the 4 or 5 worst things about TV sports today. And that's saying quite a lot.

What is NBCs problem?
They had such a good thing last year on Thursdays. Community, Parks and Rec, The Office and then 30 Rock. Boom. Two hours where I didn't need to change the channel. But this year they keep sticking crap in, leaving me with a dead half hour in my evening. Where do they get off doing this to me?

Yes but Tom Hooper won an Oscar he in no way deserved.

Okay GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra got a B+ from here so you pretty much lose your entire argument there.
