I think you could pretty easily adapt Lot 49.  Girl's lover dies, she discovers odd postage stamps that lead her into a world of intrigue as she gets sucked into the mysterious conflict between two warring postal systems (dating back to the 18th century).  Everywhere she turns, posthorns…

There was a scene where the 3 guys were running around the apartment saying "Parkour" and just jumping off of things.  It was in an episode late last fall.

Good point (BTW, Maradona was at one point the biggest soccer star in the world and probably the world's most popular and recognizable athlete).

I wondered the same thing about Maradona.  I'm pretty sure it was him, but it's weird that they wouldn't at least acknowledge it.

It's… a….

I do like the line where, after we've sat through the lavish production number, we cut back to the guys in the studio and the studio head says "I just can't picture it."

It was supposed to be sung to the tune of "Smelly Cat".  But apparently I was the only one crazy enough to hear the same internal rhythm of "who do you think you are" and "what are they feeding you"…

That kind of lavish showcase for Kelly's dancing became a staple of his movies.  Look at the flashback/recap scene in "On the Town" where the rest of the cast (save Vera-Ellen) disappears and he gets about 10 minutes to dance about what's happened.

Jean Hagen is really underrated in this movie.  She nailed the part of Lina Lamont.

Her?

Singin' in the Rain is an absolute gem of a movie.  The scene where Kelly dances in the rain is probably only the 5th or 6th best sequence in the movie (and yet it's still off-the-scales awesome).

The best part of having Kudrow host is, of course, the theme song:

Easily one of my favorite Seinfeld exchanges of all time, and probably my favorite Newman scene.  He seems so contemplative about it, as if in Newman's world this is what passes for conversation.

You need to wait for the Goggle Large Burlap Sack and Google Getaway Car.  I'm sure they're both coming.

This kind of feels like it belongs in the darkest timeline.

My first thought too - I can't wait for the rash of fatal traffic accidents caused by idiots surfing the web through their glasses.  It's going to make us wish people went back to texting while driving.

The fact that they call it that means they're not ready for it.

It makes me worry that they'll give Sarah the crown just because he's already won north of $60K and this way they'd be helping 2 young chefs rather than 1.

Sarah's dish looked like a disaster.  A hunk of frozen something on top of a stuffed tube of pasta with no sauce.  That had elimination written all over it.

And suddenly it all makes sense.
