"I DIDN'T BUILD THE FUCKING THING!"

Agreed, both those scores are top notch and iconic.

Riggs' suicide-contemplation scene alone… that's some genuinely heavy shit.

I also think it would've been better if Sarah had fired the final blooper gun round. She earned it. Her and John then finding the wasted T-800 that fell short of completing its mission afterwards would've been a nice mirror of the first movie and Reese, too.

well, that's a Very different tone than I expected from a Ben Wheatley movie about people shooting each other.

I'd like to see a future war TV series with Stan or someone else good as Kyle Reese that follows the Techcom soldiers in the lead up to him being sent back.

One thing about Aliens I dislike (especially in hindsight) is how Cameron's Xenos were more insectoid and kind of jittery in their movements (and the less said about his Alien Queen design, the better).

No one should accept T3.
Always send it back.

For anyone wanting more of the future war stuff, the comic series Terminator: Burning Earth is worth a look. Alex Ross' first major gig and right from the get go, you could tell he was going to be one of the best comic artists ever (in my humble opinion anyhow):

Never understood why they took those post-damage hints out to a such a large degree.

I like that a lot.

Having re-watched Lethal Weapon recently, I think it's pretty goddamn great… however, the saxophone blast score is so, so bad and very often super inappropriate given what's happening on screen. It's almost like the studio didn't like how gritty and pulpy things ended up and wanted to try and lighten the tone with the

It's a pretty incredible melody. One of my favorites.

The Stalin stuff was definitely hilarious.

The on-the-run exposition is definitely one of the key strengths of T1. The pace just doesn't let up.

The little smirk on his face too… he's had some good times there for sure.

True, those Arkham cutscenes were very good… I take it back.

Terminator edges T2 for me mostly because of the lack of compromise and the darker tone. Obviously T2 has wayyyyy better effects, but it also has John Connor playing Simon Says with a killer cyborg, 'Bad to the bone' music cues and a killing machine giving a thumbs up.

His whole life has essentially been a nightmare, and his expression in that parking garage scene makes that abundantly clear.

I went straight from Red Alert to Generals: Zero Hour, myself.
