Biehn is underappreciated in general, but his performance in Terminator is excellent. He sells us (and Sarah) on a ridiculous premise with ease. In the hands of a lesser actor, it probably would've derailed the whole movie.

Especially considering how little time Fiedel had to make it, it's fantastic.

the crosswalk countdown to the shooting was a great touch.

I love this movie. The effects are obviously worthy of praise, but it's the performances that really make it come alive. Goldblum and Davis' performances are both the best they've ever done for my money. Cronenberg's unwillingness to compromise and embrace tragic endings is one of his great strengths.

You're right, they definitely should have left him in there.

You shouldn't mention these kind of ideas online until you've already secured the trademarks.

the first one that springs to mind is Buffalo Tom 'Late at Night' being inseparable from My So-Called Life, and I also can't hear Cream's 'Toad' without picturing Joe Pesci running around switching cars in Casino.

Their sound is awesome. That ultra-gain, condensed guitar tone mixed with synth pads and Pete's voice isn't really like anything else.

After he died, one of his bandmates was talking about how although they liked to joke around with presentation/lyrics etc. when it came to the melodies and whatnot, Peter was most definitely playing it straight. For me that's always come through, the songs are affecting and memorable even when there's a playful
