I've noticed that the homeless on the west coast can sometimes be more aggressive and also sometimes argue with you ("Come back when you have $20!" -actual quote from a panhandler in the Bay Area). That being said, I have only seen homeless dudes peeing themselves or masturbating in public in NYC.
