I agree with Beartato.

Snyder went for a visual (and, I guess in this case, audio) carbon copy of the novel that didn't translate to film well. He was able to provide a nice looking replica that completely missed the point of the original. It was like watching a beautiful, hollow, and incredibly stupid ballerina dance.

Man, I had forgotten about that damn trailer. I really thought "Hey, maybe he didn't ruin this movie after all."

Aw, maybe he should just make video games. I bet he'd actually be pretty good at it.

I was in love with this boy who played bass…so mine would probably end up as a terrible Nicholas Sparks movie about a good looking bass player who finds himself irresistibly attracted to an awkward third chair trumpet player. 

I guess taste is subjective. I don't think Snyder-hate is irrational and unjustified. His work genuinely annoys me.

You know…I pretty much dislike everybody who is a voice of something. Even if I agree with what they're saying, they tend to be irritating assholes.

My dad felt like his sole responsibility as a parent was to make sure we saw a lot of awesome movies, regardless of age-appropriateness. We saw a lot of Die Hard type stuff growing up, too.

Frankly, I wouldn't want to lower myself to the dirty work of writing. It's like voting…I'm a delicate flower and I shan't do anything to bruise myself.

I am also a girl who loves this movie. That being said, someone on a forum once guessed that I was a single dude in my early 20s…so there's that.

Oh my god. So many South Bay people. San Jose truly is a vortex of suburban shittiness. Los Gatos sucks. Campbell's okay. Come out to the Coast. Santa Cruz is pretty nice. Half Moon Bay is nice. We have no jobs unless you work in hospitality, though. Or agriculture.
