@avclub-d03b651ed0295a6f71eafa2690d30295:disqus Those B-sides are pretty great. The only thing that disappoints me about them is that Up On The Ladder is so subdued on the album, when it was so rocking when they played it live back in the early 00's. See below (sorry for poor audio quality - though it's definitely…
I would have thought someone who really likes The Eraser would like Kid A more than HTTT or In Rainbows? They just seem more similar to each other.
Welcome to every generation ever.
He's a troll, and a pretty weak one at that.

I am just so happy that you're back.
Well, Foals are in Europe touring right now, though Surfer Blood is not opening for them there.
Mmmmm…. dessert concert….

Yeah, the most recent album was not great, I'll be the first to admit that. But, I glanced at some setlists from the tour and it doesn't seem like they're playing much off it. They're really quite amazing live either way, so if you haven't seen them and get a chance to, I'd take it.

Seriously true. Better than anything else I've seen live other than perhaps Radiohead.
In the reddit ama they actually said they really won't be playing any songs from the most recent album because they are too hard to recreate live. I don't particularly like the latest album myself, but most of their material is really not that sleepy.

Yep, they are confirmed for Coachella: http://www.coachella.com/ Playing the Saturday shows it looks like.
The funniest part about the comments is all the people complaining about how, "yet again, the lamestream bi-coastal media is out to unfairly portray those good, honest, white Americans who live in the supposed fly-over states!" When in reality, the show is about Boston, one of those progressive, liberal, east coast…
I think nuclearhobbitt is right, I don't see a huge connection between Animal Collective and Radiohead or Arcade Fire. Radiohead is my favorite band and I really cannot take Animal Collective, listening to them just annoys the hell out of me.
Ugh, that may have been the worst decision in the history of television.
