Me too. Though I've been getting most of my shit from the local Redbox and that is usually a couple months behind - I just watched Super 8 over the weekend.

That scene in Super 8 was really amazing. It's the first thing I think of when I look back at that movie.
I finally saw Super 8 and it was better than I expected.
It's pretty enjoyable when going in you know it's a dark movie. I loved it but I had a few friends that must have been expecting something else because we've had a few arguments over this. The supporting cast is great, especially Michael Peña, and Patton Oswalt plays an asshole food court restaurant manager.
I never really got into PMFS since I came across them later in their run when they were pretty heavy and it just didn't do it for me. I'm told their earlier stuff is more melodic but I haven't heard anything other than the last two albums. I didn't like the sound of O'Donnell's voice then but this Hawks & Doves song…
Some of my favorite songs of the year:
The Felice Brothers "Cus's Catskill Gym" http://youtu.be/W1oeX9f2nlQ

Against Me! "Russian Spies" http://youtu.be/Ov9u1qyyPVI
Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers "All Over The Radio" http://youtu.be/O7TLyodNu60

I totally spaced on the new Glossary album. I knew it was coming out but I haven't gotten it yet. I've heard good things about it too.
He does post a lot but it's usually pretty entertaining.
My top ten in no particular order:
Bomb the Music Industry! Vacation
Red City Radio The Dangers of Standing Still
The Slow Death Born Ugly, Got Worse
The Decemberists The King Is Dead
Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit Here We Rest
The United Sons of Toil When The Revolution Comes Everything Will Be Beautiful
Direct Hit! DOMESPLITTE…
I haven't really listened to their album but I did see them opening for DBT and I was really impressed.
I'm still getting into Zola Jesus but I really like that song. It's way outside of what I'm usually into but whatever, I've listened to it a lot.
I didn't watch much of anything since I got last-minute tickets to the Big Ten Championship game in Indianapolis, but I did watch an old Golan and Globus movie, 10 to Midnight, on TV Friday night. It starred Charles Bronson as a detective tracking down a serial killer that is stalking his daughter. There was a LOT…
Oh man, that show was always bad but the Christmas season was the absolute worst. I used to work at a deli in college and if the boss was around we'd have to listen to some terrible adult contemporary station with the Delilah show later at night. December was the worst as we'd slog through hours of lite jazz…
When I was a small kid I had a Beach Boys Xmas songs cassette and I recall listening to it over and over. That's probably the reason I don't like the Beach Boys to this day.
I fucking despise Xmas music but I love that entire Vandals Christmas album. Though it does seem that when I put my iPod on shuffle "Christmas Time For My Penis" will come up with alarming regularity when someone else is within earshot.
I took one of the work vehicles out for a multiple day trip through northern MN this week but there wasn't an aux jack so I was stuck listening to the radio and a few CDs I was lucky enough to have in my car. I had loaded a good 20-25 different podcasts to listen to during the hours and hours of driving, but no dice.
I stopped watching regularly a few years ago so I'm not up on any of the recent seasons but I might check it out again if it has in fact stopped being the Cartman show.
I randomly got a week-long survey booklet from them a couple years back but it unfortunately coincided with a week I was exceedingly busy - I think I'd gone out to a show one night, had a friend's birthday party another and spent two days on the road for work. I ended up watching maybe three shows total plus a hockey…
I stumbled upon this album when a friend of mine returned a CD he'd borrowed with this in it. It took me a week or so before I figured out exactly which band I was listening to but I was hooked.
I rewatched the first three parts of Band of Brothers on Saturday morning. I was quite hungover from the hockey game the night before as I celebrated the Badgers knocking off #1 Minnesota in style. Nothing makes the shakes go away better than hating on David Schwimmer*.
