If all Polish Metal Videos are like that…
I'm going to start watching them more often. That was awesome, though I had to turn the sound way down - too br00tal for work (and me for that matter).

Or D4, but that's easier to do. Just go to the Triple Rock.
I have a special friendship with Ed Thompson, Libertarian candidate for Governor of Wisconsin in 2002, where I run into him in Madison on my way to a football game on a residential street near my apartment, tell him I'm going to definitely vote for him, then don't. Famous people don't really come to Wisconsin, and if…
I always had a sneaking suspicion that Norman Lovett was an ass. Still funny as hell though.
I have an A.F.I. song that comes up too, "He Who Laughs Last" from a Hopeless Records comp. I don't really like that song too much. I used to have a Swingin' Utters song come up, because it was spelled $wingin' Utter$, but now these songs are in "S".
I took a picture of the statue of Lord Palmerston in London! I was just walking past Parliament Square and there he was.
I umped one 8th grade girls softball game, and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. The mask didn't fit me, so all I had was a foam chest protector that I ducked behind on any foul ball. I do not know how that particular game possibly had as many close plays as it did, but I was repeatedly yelled at by…
I don't eat many potato chips anymore, but I definitely dislike the flavored chips back when I did. I did like the jalapeno kettle chips, but I haven't had those in years. Sea Salt & Vinegar Kettle chips are about the only thing I buy now.
Warmotor: I've heard that reasoning before from a lot of people but for whatever reason I've never come around to that logic. I always felt Mookie was turning against Sal instead of protecting him. Nevertheless, I love the movie, even if I do feel like I'm not on the same page as Lee w/r/t the window.
The Black Cherry seltzer was my absolute favorite when I was a kid. When it was discontinued I was never the same. I kept asking my mother to get more when she would go shopping, and I never believed her that the stores no longer stocked New York Seltzer. It was simply inconceivable.
Back in HS one of our weekend rituals was to walk down Main Street to the Surge pop machine at the grocery store, which only charged 25 cents a can, and load up with as many cans as could be carried.
ATR came highly recommended by a couple of friends, but it did nothing for me. And normally I'm all about angry Germans.
Back in college I went a'drinking in Oshkosh with a few friends from Madison that knew people at UW-Oshkosh. I recall one place having a special on cans of Point, and me drinking many of them. It was a fun time, and I don't have anything bad to say about Oshkosh for that reason.
They had to close down Main Street in Columbus, WI for the movie. People went nuts. Same deal with the scenes shot at the Capitol in Madison. Madison hasn't been this famous since I Love Trouble!
I didn't think the debut was slick at all - only in comparison to the demos of "Drive", "We Came to Dance" and "Navesink Banks" that had been floating around.
I never thought of that either. "Our Life is not a Movie or Maybe" doesn't really strike me as all that similar to "Keep The Car Running."
Homemade ketchup is the way to go. My grandmother has always made her own, and it's the best - slightly sweeter than what you'd get in the store, but with a lot more flavor.
I've liked most Goose Island beers, but I once got violently sick/hungover after drinking Honkers - not necessarily the beer itself but the combination of drinking too much and an oppressively hot day. I haven't tried it since.
I remember randomly tuning in that Prine/Snider ACL - that was pretty great.
I remember the video for their cover of "I Will Survive" - McCrea was a parking enforcement guy and the trumpet player was on top of the scooter.
