Could you give us an explanation?
Hey Noel, I'm enjoying this so far, though I have to admit that I sometimes find it hard to read in one sitting. You cover so much ground that it can be hard to digest all at once, especially if I try to listen to the tracks you post.

"Or you can just turn off the boob tube and forget about killer robots from the future."

Fun
I like this show in spite of itself. Yes, a lot of the time, it's crazy ridiculous, but that doesn't really hurt it in my book. Examples:

La Jetee
12 Monkeys is perfectly recognizable in La Jetee, and the reverse as well. It's the exact same story told through different methods.

Wow
Nathan, glad you are still doing this—a pleasure to read.

oh man, I feel sorry for you.

Penny from LOST
Penny shows up again! This time as the wife of EMT/past-Sarah-Fiance-Guy. I guess she left the guy on TELL ME YOU LOVE ME after they couldn't conceive a child. (or did they? I never could follow the plot of the show.)

For what it's worth, I thought we were talking about the method of story telling, not the actual story itself. I think it makes sense for Locke to still have the monster on his mind since he has been on the Island for only a couple months. But it hasn't been an important part of any episode in a while, and when

That desire
that desire to tear out the throats of visitors is not irrational.

Yeah, yeah, I'm fine with all that. It is, afterall, a bit weird for Locke to be asking Ben what the monster is at that particular moment. The monster hasn't been around at all lately, but apparently it's on Locke's mind. That's fine, but then to just dodge the question completely—that's annoying.

King of Kong
was awesome. I think Billy got a bit of a raw deal, even if he is this self-centered.

Do they hate the audience?
I have to ask that question. At the end of the episode, Locke points a gun at Ben and asks, "What is the monster?"

Excellent Ep
This was an excellent episode for Lost, and I enjoyed it, though I found the flashbacks for the new characters to be a little frustrating. Daniel's flashback where he is found crying is especially frustrating because it reveals so little. The other 4 flashbacks actually advance the story some.

Well said.

king of kong
was awesome. that is all

Ugh
It's like every third episode is pure caricature. Have the people who make this show ever met a stereotype they didn't like?

Good episode.
I'm glad it's back. Hooray for scripted programming!

Urge to kill rising
This show made me angry. I actually yelled at the TV a couple times. It was stupid and pandering and wrong about so much. It's offered easy answers. It tried to tread the line between drama and whimsy, and in so doing failed at both. I had to change the channel. Celebrity Apprentice was easy

when did this happen?
When did the poll happen? was this an open poll, or by invitation only?

Chevy Tahoe Hyrbrid
According to Chevy's website, the Tahoe hybrid gets the amazing gas mileage of 20 mpg in the city and . . . wait for it . . . 20 mpg on the highway. But that's for the 4x4 version. The 4x2 version is much better with 21 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway.
