Paradise isn't a character. It's a setting. I, too, am enjoying them fleshing it out as a setting, but that doesn't make it a character.

You're right, I shouldn't have even implied you'd need an objective reason. Not wanting to doesn't need a reason.

Yes, and then even better was when she was wrong, because this show isn't just interested in ticking the boxes you expect it to.

Definitely creepy. And this stuff about not being able to date rape guys if you're a beautiful woman is bullshit. He could be happily married. He could have HIV. SHE could have HIV. He could be gay. She could look JUST like his mom.

Rosen has been Professor X since he was in the first scene of the show.

Re: first spoiler space (though not really spoilers) - That is the worst Byron ever. I hate him, and his nauseating mix of early-90s geek "this guy is everything I think is cool" and "I'm a little like this, aren't I? I know, I'll grow my hair to my waist!"

Enh, I took the whole "revised will" thing to be shorthand for "died intestate, you're his wife, here's his money," and then skipped the "challenged in probate, Fanny loses, acrimony, no TV show" part.

What exactly is so horrible about 30 seconds of non-realistic exposition, delivered with a joke or two? Sure, her friends would know those things, but we didn't, and the dialogue didn't stop being fun. It's a neat trick when you can insert exposition naturally, but does that really make a show better?

You have to flip the last two, then beat up someone for pretending Boo is ugly. But the non-character HAS to be "What's Her Face!"

I'm really, really happy this nowhere near crossed my mind.
