I recently got a reply to a comment I made on an episode of The Good Wife from LAST season angrily accusing me of spoilers because I mentioned something from the next week's promo. Just a quote. That was it. Mad at me a year after the fact.

It was in the promo for the following week at the time. CBS spoiled us all, and now you can share our pain.

    With opinions added!

I would agree that there are dark implications to the technology introduced that aren't addressed by the film, but I'm still going to have to disagree with your overall interpretation, though I completely get where it's coming from, since I spent the first 30 minutes or so expecting the movie you're describing to take

A well-shot and acted…Victorian melodrama. Fuck no, The Immigrant! To each, his/her own and everything but damn I hated that movie.

But she…does have agency and develops a life of her own. They grow together, and then apart. That's the arc of the movie. They both help each other, and then it's time to move on with their lives, but it doesn't invalidate the whole relationship. I would also disagree that the audience is meant to sympathize any more

Brandon's Looking recaps might be my favorite recaps of any recaps ever.

"You heard her, this is a house!"

My grandmother's birthday: January 2, 1934. 1-2-3-4. Great pin, Mountain Men!

I've never seen something oscillate so regularly between offensiveness and subversion. It left me kind of confused. Everything about Dong is such a mixed bag. On the one hand, there's so much great subversion of the Long Duck Dong caricature: "Kim-me means penis in Vietnamese," "Enough, Dong is a very common

It was definitely uncomfortable to watch, but it worked for me. The comedy/pathos for those scenes is derived from our knowledge as an audience that he's a monster coming up against an inadequate criminal justice process. Charming white men getting away with horrible crimes is a thing that really happens. Women

How dare this pop culture critic critique a piece of pop culture!?!

Her character on Transparent is pretty much Hannah with a hint of Jessa. She…doesn't have that much in common with Caroline at all.

Is that an unpopular opinion? If so, it shouldn't be. I'm still pissed at the Andrew-the-ladies-man reveal on Angel.

    I'm 23 and I feel this way.

To me he'll always be that conspiratorial bookstore owner on Angel.

WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP CASTING THIS GUY AS AN AMERICAN?!?!? Is it an inside joke? Did he lose a bet to someone who found his American accent hilarious, and now he can only accept roles for American characters? I just don't understand!! There are so many other choices!!

Aw, Scott Hutchinson likes Sharon Van Etten! I love it when people I like like each other. Now kiss.

Love it when promos pose questions like: "Will everyone die?!" Will this show kill off literally every character?! Will Season 5 just be a computer screen?! WHO KNOWS?!?!? Certainly not me.
