Agreed with you about the Spike/Angel bickering, Noel. Spike improves for me on this show once he stops hogging all the attention. He works better in small doses.

Love/hate relationship with Jack, pure hate for Kate. "We are both so emotionally closed off! Can you pass me another box of tissues? I've burned through three in the past hour"

I'm not sure how much I love hating Betty though. Maybe if January Jones had some charisma.

I retrospectively love to hate early day Wes. His ponciness is nostalgia inducing.

I loved hating him, ergo perfect answer.

Excuse me, but I never loved to hate Eve. I hated to hate Eve, because she was present.

The only performance of hers I didn't mind was Match Point because I thought, "Yeah, I'd buy this character as walking through life like a terrible actress."

When everyone knows only supermodels have sex in urban areas!

    "I'm so sorry Senator. You're a centaur."

My mom and I watched Veronica Mars solely because of her giant crush on Elliot DiMauro. I am therefore very grateful for Just Shoot Me.

Rudy was probably the least of season 3's problems

    Naked…jacuzzi…pepto-bismol…toenails…you shave my buttocks.

As a sociology major, their Zimbardo replication unreasonably pissed me off. There's not a lecture on ethics in social research in the world that doesn't begin with the Stanford Prison Experiment as a prime example of "things an ethics board would literally never let you do again in a million years." Never.

What's weird about Julia and Nick breaking up is that the writers bothered laying groundwork in the Valentine's Day episode, just to do it arbitrarily anyway. What was the point of all that "Julia works too hard for them to be together" business if it was irrelevant to their actual break-up?

Is it just me (yes), or was this episode almost…good? Or a derivative thereof? I barely even cringed more than five times. Progress! Characters had something resembling believable motivations and emotions not too unlike those of real human beings. Juliet's plotline was at least better this week than last. The acting

Yeah, but they're really attractive unsympathetic characters.

I do have issues with the manipulative role Lily often plays in Ted's relationships, but maybe we're being a bit harsh. She's not sabotaging Ted and Robin just because of a bet. She bet against them for a reason. Didn't it turn out she was partially responsible for breaking Ted and Robin up in the first place? But

Roman Holiday has my favorite romantic comedy ending of all time, probably specifically because it isn't a happy one.

I'm not arguing they're good songs, but I can't not sing aloud to "You Belong With Me" and "The Way You Loved Me". I was a camp counselor for 13 year olds. It can't be helped.
