Does that mean I have to fax you when I want to bang?

While I disagree that artists who push the boundaries of music have such an easy time, I would agree that the avant-garde doesn't exist anymore.  But that's because the idea of music being "ahead of it's time" requires a two dimensional view of the progression of music in a linear fashion, as though all of it is

As much as I would *absolutely love that*, that's a (very specific) longshot.  I'd be happy with something that used brainwaves to control synthesizers, like Pierre Henry in the 70's (https://www.youtube.com/wat….  That seems more likely, ridiculous control interfaces seem popular again.

How to spot a hipster protip #217: "people who disagree with me are just pretending".

This album rules, but I prefer Cool Death of the Island Raiders to the other stuff, so the return of some mellower jams was right up my alley.  And as noted, this album still has some rockin stuff like the above track, great video.

Oh hey, +1 to Mist, that album they had last year was so great.  And I dunno if KFW has *so* much stuff in this vein, I mean it's mostly just generators I guess.  But everything else he's done is fantastic too.  And yeah everything else you mentioned is tops.

Whaaaaaaat.  I've been listening to oh see's since the cool death of island raiders (still the best album), and I thought this album was plenty surprising.  I was already kind of burned out on the garage rock sound, suffering a bit from the oversaturation, but I really thought once this got past the first track, it

Also it's not weird for weird's sake when this is a kids show, and  the show is referencing the phenomenon of youtube poops that a lot of kids are into.  Weird for the sake of legitimizing and acknowledging a form of humor your audience has been pioneering on the internet is more like it.

If it's done in a way where you're left with massive amounts of poison, that must be contained *forever*, then yes.  Assuming that the act of preventing that poison from killing the surrounding life is an act that costs money, and that the time that it's required is *forever*, then eventually the cost will exceed

The fact that everyone doesn't realize what a tremendously terrible idea the pebble mine is was easily one of the most depressing parts of living in Alaska.
