I have the feeling that Avengers is going to read crazy better in trade. Personally, I really enjoy it now, but it just kind of seems like each issue is just a piece of some grand plot that he's cooking up that may not make total sense until a year or two down the line.

Holy shit. It just clicked now that Hickman had four issues of different series that all came out on the same day. Damn that guy's busy.

BUT WHAT OF TASTE TEST?!!

It's a little morbid, but A Boy and His Dog [not the film] is still one of my favorite endings/goodbyes.

I'm pretty sure it's just James Van Der Beek.

Oh please God no.

I actually liked Diggle's run up until Shadowland. Although, I am a sucker for those "Daredevil in Japan" stories.

I was always more of a Passions fan.

It's… so sparkly.

We got those Dr. P tall boys up here in Vermont. Nothing like 'em in the summer.

@avclub-62ae6d9e1a24836a391716549223464f:disqus Could America have it any other way?

Jesus vs. Ghost Rider? Please let that be the plot of the next movie.

I'm just waiting for God to join the Avengers.

Don't forget the Bamfs!

When I saw Captain America all I could think was "man, if I was a kid this movie would blow my mind." I mean, Nazis, lazers, and superheroes? Come on.

I didn't get a Dog With A Blog notification for this?!

@avclub-f829aff7373c846bd704df066d49d369:disqus , see that one didn't really do anything for me. I liked the other Hitler one because of how they dealt with the language barrier. I thought that was a nice little trick. But, it should speak to the strength of these Vertigo anthologies that there's something for

It was called "Warning Danger." It had the two warriors outfitted with ridiculously elaborate technology and weaponry fighting for the planet on behalf of their respective empires.

Any thoughts on Matt Kindt's story in Time Warp? Personally, I thought it was the highlight of the issue.

I mostly remember him from Life with Louie.
