I really like this pairing.
He's also drawing June's issue of Hawkeye. Schwing!
In the future Gotham from Batman #666 didn't Damien have, like, crazy regenerative powers or something? So I can imagine the Lazarus pit coming into play. That, or the Heretic is actually the future Batman (which I, for the record, would be totally down with).
Beware the Brain Fuckler!!
I like his work with established characters where he has to restrain himself. Specifically Superman: Red Son and Old Man Logan. I always have to think twice and remember that Kick-Ass and Red Son are the same guy.
I really like this idea. I'd be down for some sort of viewer suggestion based system to pick a handful of episodes per season beyond the premieres/finales/"important" (in terms of the overall show's narrative) that you mentioned. Let the people decide, A.V. Club!
Frasier for TV Club Classic!
Look into things before I make sweeping generalizations? Bosh! Flimshaw!
Gotcha. This may have not been the best example for asking about it, but I'm just sort of curious about the people he's quoted before that see seasons 4/5 as evidence of the show's decline.
Do these guys you repost even like The Simpsons? Like, are they fans in their own minds or just assholes who spent their days bitching about shows they didn't like?
It's a real pain in the ass having to order things two months in advance, too. Yes, you can do advance reorders, but with small shops like the ones I work, where we don't really make much more than enough to stay open, it's so much of a gamble.
Why were you going through Peter Weller's recycling?
Damnit. Thanks for the update, though.
Can anyone tell me if Ralph McQuarrie and/or Moebius (Jean Giraud) were on the "In Memoriam" reel?
Bitchin' Common Era?
I hear those things are awfully loud…
For me it's Aesop Rock's first two albums: Music for Earthworms and Appleseed. I would kill to find those somewhere.
…Sears?
The burgler even took my stamp collection!
