One of my high school teachers spent a couple years in the 70s teaching in the USSR. He said he was monitored by the KGB everywhere he went. I'm sure he was probably monitored by the FBI for a few years after he came back home too.

He plays the crazy religious suicide bomber right? It's been ages since I've seen that movie.

It'll be pretty funny if the Supreme Court knocks down the travel ban this fall after the actual hearing. Cult45 will be flabbergasted.

In all his movies too. I love that part in The Host when all those families are mourning the people killed in the monster attack and some government dude comes in and just slips and falls on his ass in front of everyone.

Every episode in season 2 save one got at least an A- grade and the only outlier was a B+. How many other shows on this list have that kind of consistency?

So now he's back to the Russia is fake news angle huh? After spending the weekend pinning the blame on President Obama? I don't understand how such a terrible liar is able to fool so many people.

Trump has no ideology beyond "I'm the fucking best and everyone should know it and agree".

Maybe they are confusing the Bernster with Jill Stein?

Yeah, I don't understand how one CNN producer expressing his skepticism of the Trump/Russia investigation somehow means that the whole thing is bullshit. Last time I checked, the final say rested with Robert Mueller.

Well said!

No "The Expanse" AV Club? For shame…

Yeah, but non-Americans don't care that you are a southerner. You're still a yankee to them. When I was stationed in Korea it used to crack me up to see southern soldiers get upset when Koreans called them yankee. I knew one guy who tried to explain the difference to the Korean soldiers we worked with. They just

Memories of Murder is my all time favorite serial killer movie. I love that Bong takes super serious subject matter based on real events and makes it almost a comedy. A very dark comedy to be sure, but there are still a lot of funny moments in what should be a messed up, depressing affair.

If you are a white American there's always "yankee".

Well this looks pretty dope.

Smooth….

Kumail Nanjiani could be funny doing anything. The dude is a treasure.

So watch The Expanse instead.

When I lived in South Korea I dated a Korean girl for a few years. A lot of Korean dudes have hang ups about foreign guys dating Korean women due to the Japanese colonization followed by a half century of American troops being stationed there. I used to get shitty looks and comments from people when I walked around

I'm not religious and generally think it's all a bunch of b/s. I could date someone who was religious but I think that they probably wouldn't want to date me.
