The 90-episode pickup isn't actually unprecedented - TBS has done the same with a few of its sitcoms (or at least the Tyler Perry ones, off the top of my head.)

I'm truly chagrined at all the praise for the Lowery piece, which is drivel. Makes all the fallacies typical of anti-piracy articles: harping on moral arguments; equating every one of White's downloads with a lost sale; and most importantly, bemoaning an "entitled generation" - there has never, EVER been a good…

Kinda thought of this as more New Cult Canon territory.  Definitely has a so-bad-it's-good following around it.

Yeah, I absolutely hated the attempt at "serious" storytelling earlier this year ("New Kidney in Town"), and this was even worse.

This is not a serious Oscar contender, and Fox Searchlight knows it. It's not the right kind of movie.
