I'm with you.  I think this show has been kind of terrible from the start, but I like seeing Jon Voight in this role. He makes me laugh; the rest of the characters just make me bored.

Yeah, all over the place describes RD well.  In some respect I think it's cool that the characters are a little ambiguous and we don't have any reliable POV to judge them with.  The problem is that I can't get invested in any of their stories, I'm confused, and thus have a quickly dwindling interest in the show.

Yeah but Ray warned his family in the same fashion and all that happened so far is that they went shopping and ate ice cream.
