This episode left me really optimistic about the show as it felt like every segment had a purpose, story and moved things forward. Some of them, like the first six man tag, really didn't work for me, but even that was about something else than just having a random six man tag.

I suspect Emmalina is probably going to be the next Sasha feud unless they really rush the Bayley feud. I just can't see who else it could be unless they were willing to sacrifice Nia's monster mystique already at this point.

I still have no idea what they were attempting to say in that season. Vigilants something something killing bad something something all criminals deserve it though something something ninjas y'all

This was a very small, nit-picky detail that just started driving me nuts at the end of this episode and I do not mean this is a slam of the show as these kinds of things always need to be mucked around with.

And I'm completely fine with that approach, even to the point that I believe that was what the show was going for, but for me they utterly failed at that as they never showed Stokes in that kind of a role. Outside of brief appearance by Domingo, we never got that sense of the larger picture and how Luke's actions was

There was this small moment in this episode that I am convinced was intentional and hope they expand upon in the future. When Claire was trying to convince Luke to act, she kept telling him how people like him, vigilantes who are willing to go beyond the law to do the right thing, are needed to protect people from the

While I am positive on the show, something that is starting to annoy me a little bit is the criminal focus on the show as apparently the root of Harlem's crime issues is a gun runner? And even when Luke finally goes after the drug source in this episode, he goes there to get the guns? I realize that in this episode

I'm kind of sad we won't get to see Shades interactions with Cottonmouth anymore as you could just sense him constantly hold back from pointing out how dumb Stokes's actions were. Especially the almost-sigh when Cottonmouth revealed he was blackmailing Cage despite the explicit instructions otherwise from Diamondback.

While I don't think they were as effiient as possible in this first half season arc, I do appreciate where they are trying to get Luke to as this feels like the heights of his hubris. He is an indestructable, superstrong vehicle of destruction that just put away the big bad criminal mastermind of Harlem, although I am

I absolutely loved that scene between Mariah and Stokes as it efficiently drove home for me that Mariah is the bigger threat of the two, despite how much we had seen Stokes throw around his weight. Diamondback and that magic bullet is still lingering out there and I assume we will see that come in to play in a

There is just something utterly hilarious about Jason's dumbness to me with the following gems.

The Survivor Series match announcements were somewhat surprising. Not because I'm against some brand competition, actually the matches sound quite fun, but to do it that way almost requires a lot of the titles to not be defended on Survivor Series. Which I guess isn't necessarily that big of an issue as it is pretty

I also really loved that segment because it felt to be building up for something while continuing to stake Styles as a despicable heel instead of a funny meme.

More important than the Kane thing was their Talking Smack segment, which I would recommend watching not just because Talking Smack is great, but because it added a lot to Bray.

i have to admit I've grown to love JBL in commentary as I think he has been killing on Smackdown and he manages to something to a lot of the segments. For example, on this Smackdown the way he sold Miz's actions and motivations as well as the way he got constantly angrier and more indignant during the Styles/Ellsworth

While this episode didn't touch explicitly on the systematic racism of the prison system, didn't almost all the prisoners belong to ethnic minorities while, with one exception, all the guards were from an Aryan dream.

Because we can only discuss the information they have presented to us. If future episodes reveal something else, then the events in the past episodes can be revisited upon, but there is no requirement on us to assume here that everything will be explained further along the line.

As much as I liked Luke Cage getting his powers accidentally from an experiment to do something different, I hope the corporation has actually managed intentionally give superpowers to someone. Otherwise, seeing both Luke and Jessica are by accident, someone in upper management needs to have a big meeting with the

Second episode after the Scarfe reveal and I continue to be even more baffled that he hasn't been caught years ago. Like I realize that there is this protection network for corrupt police officers, but at the moment the indication is that Scarfe is doing it alone while inviting other non-involved police officers to

Not much. They showed the second part of the her promotional package and teased her arrival to the show.
