I felt this Raw did a lot to set the foundation for Seth Rollins's face turn. The interview with Cole was okay, but more importantly, it set the framework of how Seth views things and how he can be sold as a face through it. Then he interrupted KO's match and cost him the victory by playing his insecuritites. And

Kutcher actually managed to win me over during this Raw. The backstage segment was gold mostly due to Jericho, but the visiting duo held their own, and while the commentary started rought with Kutcher, I absolutely loved as he grew more and more insistent that Jericho and KO were not realy friends like him and Danny

I've already seen the next episode, but it isn't the kind of repercussions I was referring to here. Although it was a nice plot device there.

Minor trope that always irks me to no end. When they showed Stokes beating Shakeem's face in with his bare fists, I just kept thinking that hopefully he wasn't planning on using his hands for anything in the near future as that was just asking for fractured fingers. Seriously, open palm for the head, no matter what

Something I absolutely loved about the Stokes with the crown image was that I was groaning when they showed in the trailers as it appeared to be such a heavy-handed image. Yet the way they executed in the show was brilliant as Stokes specifically speaks about the importance of the crowd just as it slides behind him.

When Stokes was shown trafficking Hammer Industries weaponry, my first reaction was to roll my eyes and ask that did we learn nothing from Iron Man 2. Then I remembered Stark Industries no longer did weaponry, but still, have some self-respect, arms dealer.

And a small addition on how great Smackdown long-term storytelling appears to be.

You know, in a weird way Smackdown almost feels like it needs more time as it is telling so many stories that at times it's almost bursting on the seams. For example here, the Becky segment was good, but really short, and we didn't get anything Corbin/Swagger or Breezango.

To be fair, Owens has actually mentioned in interviews that to him, the best heels get those mixed reactions as they hit on something true. I don't necessarily agree with him, but it is an interesting view on the matter.

That Ambrose/Styles match was so good and their chemistry is off-the-charts. What I especially loved is that they changed their match to reflect the new story. Ambrose told us that Styles made a horrible mistake when he made Ambrose his enemy, which lead to a match where Ambrose was much more aggressive and almost

I feel like a broken record, but once everyone needs to go and watch Talking Smack, but once again it delivered on such an astonishing level. Not just for the fire Becky promo, but the Cena interview where he just tears in to Ambrose and finishes it off with 'Dean Ambrose doesn't like John Cena. John Cena doesn't care

I love the Miz so much. The moment they him cover LeBron James's mural with his own picture was one more moment when he claimed ownership on my heart. And that video package and fireworks that he produced for himself once again show that the Miz knows how to negotiate things.

As a slight sidenote, Clash of Champions felt about as weird as the go-home show for it. The ring work was for the most part really good, the Reigns/Rusev match was the only one where I just switched off, but also almost all of them felt like it was a pitstop for all the stories leading up to HIAC.

I continue to struggle with what they are doing with Roman. For example, they kept insisting how he is having this personal rivalry with Rusev that cannot be contained in the ring, yet with one exception, hasn't Roman come out on top in each exchange they've had? Like isn't the story constantly telling us that Rusev

As a sidenote, Sasha continues to worry me so much. While I understand the argument that we just need to wait for her heel turn, there are core issues with her skillset that are setting off so many alarms for me. Like the fact that she honestly went out there and called Charlotte Queen Charles, which was the point

I was actually thinking on this Raw that based on the current trajectories, and that people manage to keep their health and momentum, in a few years when Becky and Charlotte end back on the same roster, the story and feud they could do with those two would be probably one for the history books.

Charlotte was just astonishing tonight. What impressed me the most was that she really worked for the heat, but still made it seem really effortless. Also, while the Queen Charlotte character started as this farcical character, and still is to a degree, she's managed to transform it something beyond that. She just has

Okay? You seem to be in the right discussion then.

I really loved the way they used Rollins tonight. He seemed to be honestly in pain, as that botched gutbuster from last night appeared to have legit hurt him, and it gave him this sense of vulnerability that was missing before. It also made his determination to confront Owens that much more impressive.

True, although I don't think the argument about meaningless cards is true anymore. That approach kind of came about as WWE realized that people couldn't buy the PPV every month. However, with the Network, it's not so much getting people to buy the PPV as it is to get them to watch it.
