How dare you imply Charlotte's sage advice to her protege was not helpful. One crucial advice is that when an opponent tries to pin you, you kick out. You would be amazed how many people fall for that simple mistake.

Agreed completely. For example I felt the Ambrose/Ziggler match would have work a lot better if it had come before the matches where one seemed to try insane new spots and the other handled near fall teases to a perfection. Getting a psychological slow match after that just didn't pack the same punch.
An insane number of people online. There was a time you couldn't go in to any of her youtube videos without seeing the comment section filled with that and even now it apparently gets consistently tweeted at her.
On a more positive Charlotte note, while Bayley understandably gets the attention, I thought Charlotte was hysterical in her role in this Raw. Just some of the highlights for me were:
As a sidenote, as I don't know a better place to put this, I watched the pre-show and sighed so hard as Sasha seemed so pleased of her great 'She smells' insult. That and the Miss Piggy line a week ago make me worried that Sasha struggles at being clever in live mic situations.
While obviously sympathetic for Sasha, a part of me really feels for Charlotte. For the past year she has been essentially the narrative engine for the women's division, has had to deal with a ton of media in her role, has probably worked most singles matches out of all the women and consistently takes really stiff…
Rollins just embraces the role completely, which is always amusing as when listening to his interviews, he comes across as a really chill guy.
I was live at SummerSlam and I want to defend the crowd that I thought they were pretty good for the most part of it. They were really hot and in to the first three bigger matches and for the couple of matches after that they were just silent if they didn't care. But then the title came up and as horrible as it was,…
There is a weird dynamic with Roman Reigns as lot of the public chatter defending him seems to be focused that he can wrestle, for example in the latest Balor interview on TIJ both of them put over Reigns as a ring worker. And at the same time it feels WWE is at the moment feeling that what they need to do is to put…
No, that was the audience trends and inherent difficuties with combining ad breaks and music videos.
Except it can just be that Bayley work on the main roster. There are stark differences between NXT and the main roster with regard what is required from the talent and assuming that Bayley's is going to be automatically just great is not doing anyone service, least of all Bayley because it puts a lot of unnecessary…
Oh, I didn't mean that Rusev is a bad promo, on the contrary I think he is great, but he isn't the kind of a promo that tells a story. For example, he could never project or facilitate his opponents motivations in a way to give them depth. What he can do, though, is be hilarious and angry in a promo.
To be fair, it's not just a WWE problem as the entertainment industry itself is struggling to find that balance between the cool 90s hero and what people enjoy now.
But based on every rumor so far, Nikki, if she gets cleared, would be going to Smackdown. Also, this assumes Bayley will be a success on the main roster, which is something we just don't know yet.
Almost forgetting, that Eva entrance was the best yet. Just the way they ran it through completely, then just shut down the music as the announcer explained Eva was stuck in traffic. That cursed Austin traffic.
Completely agreed and I think Becky's the right person to help building all that up as she is a workhorse. While the current Charlotte/Sasha feud is great, I am already somewhat worried what happens after that as I feel there are some questions about Sasha's ability to carry a feud without Charlotte's assistance.…
Something I realized over these go-home episodes is that almost all the superstars who are able to frame the narrative of the feud in promos are on Smackdown. Like or dislike them, Miz, Cena, Ambrose, Styles, Bray and even Becky are all really good at giving a deeper meaning to their feuds in their promos which you…
I've liked Corbin since they brought him up. I also thought the Ziggler feud was actually good for him as it gave him an active story with different parts instead of shuffling him to the side while allowing him to work with a veteran helping him to adjust to the main roster.
What weirded me about the WWE 24 was how they really didn't pay any attention on who Sasha, Charlotte and Becky were or what was their achievement. They seemed to give more space and time to Bayley than any of those three.
Three random, unrelated thoughts from Smackdown:
