I am utterly in love with the squash segments in a way I couldn't even imagine before. The pre-interviews with the Braun squashess are simply a delight and Nia's aftermatch demolition was unexpected and great.

To be fair, her edge on the main roster was that she wanted the title because she believed she was the best. Once that was accomplished, what is next? That is why for me, the biggest moment of doubt concerning yesterday was actually the short interview on the Pre-Show, which allows them to work a more NXT style and,

I thought they were really smart with both Finn's and Sasha's promos in that they obviously knew that there were questions about their abilities to carry promos, so they had their opponents come out and help them through. And something that always makes Seth and Charlotte shine for me is that they will go out of their

As an addition, at the end of the mixed tag, the referee in error tried to give the women's title to Charlotte instead of the champion. They actually acknowledged this error in the Raw Fallout video which was nothing short of brilliant.

This Raw gaveth and tooketh away. Before I never knew how much I needed to see Charlotte/Jericho interactions, but now I feel only sadness as I realize how unlikely it will be to experience it again. However, then JeriKO made its glorious return.

To be honest, I was somewhat confused when I saw the complaints about jobbing her out after losing one tag match with interference considering Charlotte lost almost every non-title match she had.

Yeah, I've actually really liked The Club the past two weeks as I can't recall the last time we saw The New Day just decimated like that.

For me, the bigger issue for Sasha's promo development is that she still doesn't have a clear character, especially now that she isn't chasing, That was the big turning point for Charlotte, after all, so I hope they will soon figure something out.

To be fair to Carmella, her 'Is this really happening?' moment was kind of brilliant.

It's somewhat weird that Nattie really doesn't seem to know how to interact with the audience. Her first heeling moment was good and got a reaction, so her response was to repeat it exactly the same every minute. It was so weird to watch.

I looked the fedora look as well, but the new look works for him as well and adds something even more. It is important that they give him a different feeling with the brand split and I thought this show was a good start for that.

She has been coming across better when she talks and apparently her recent house show work has been good, so here's keeping fingers crossed.

I disagree on the entrance pop, Carmella usually gets a really good reaction. However, I do agree that it is at least partially residual from Enzo and Cass. In the ring, yeah, she is really green.

I thought as well. Her only issue was that she was exaggarating her body language, which a natural thing to do when you are used to working small crowds where everyone can see you, but she got her character really well through.

If I recall correctly from Heyman's interviews, that was pretty much how it also was back then. The Smackdown had its own writers, but Heyman had a weekly telecom with Vince and Steph about what Smackdown was doing.

Did you see his after the match backstage interview. He went off the rails a couple of times, but he had more energy during it than I've seen in years from him.

Just the Miz reacts to them is great. He doesn't yell, he doesn't go on tandems, he just gives that look that conveys the story almost perfectly.

I loved Bray's new look. He somehow managed to feel even more menacing than before and I'm really hopeful they manage to rebuild him in to something meaningful on Raw.

I was personally intrigued by the Slater segment as it did put both him and Rhyno over while leaving good possibilities for Slater to continue that storyline. I would be shocked if we didn't him do the same complaints on Raw next week. In a weird way, this might be their best change to make him seem more meaningful

The Carmella entrance was one of the best examples how much some gimmicks live on the audience participation. She did the exactly same entrance at NXT, but there the crowd popped for it hard, elevating it. Here, with the crowd having no idea who she was, it was so awkward to witness.
