I'm really enjoying this show so far.  It's nice to have a female lead who I can relate to on some level, she's a mother, and is still a total badass.  I'm curious to see what else they reveal about her life and political stance in 2077.

I too read Oryx and Crake.  Atwood does such a great job of following current trends in our society and showing the dark path they could lead us on.  I think that's why I found that book so disturbing.  It definitely kept me thinking long after I had put it down.  Chickie nobs, yikes.

I think the next season will pick up in 1920.  The wedding is too huge to skip over.  Plus, if Sybil is in Dublin, it is a turbulent time there as Ireland is fighting for Independence.  That is a font of all sorts of drama since we already know that Branson is "political".

What was the point of all the emphasis on the winter olympics (that generally no one gives a shit about cuz summer is where its at) that happened TWO YEARS AGO? This season really sucked. 

I had high hopes for them but am not too please with how Branson has developed.  I think they are setting him up to be a bad guy somewhere down the line.  Plus, there's some wild shit about to break out in Ireland in the early 1920s.  They should just run off to America like everyone else did.

I think the worst thing about this storyline is that you just KNOW this guys going to be showing up again.  I liked how the first season really surprised me and I never knew what to expect.  Now I feel like I can figure out exactly whats coming…"What?
