As the episode was playing out, I was thinking about Alias & when they dropped "B613", it was a pretty direct shout-out. I think this show could be better that Alias, in that Alias became all about recasting the characters every season and little else. It's got a lot of the same "don't think about this too closely"

I disagree with Neil Gaiman, but I am of two minds on the subject.
