So did I misinterpret this, or did we get confirmation that Ernestine has 4 children?

I am shocked and yet somehow totally unsurprised at that cameo. Of course Underground would spring an unannounced Angela Bassett into the middle of their episode to give an intense, brutal speech to a child.
I've adored Jurnee Smollett Bell since Selma, Lord, Selma and I am so fucking happy that she's gotten such a

In retrospect, it was dumb to delete season 2 of Better Off Ted off my iTunes because it was on Netflix.
Did they really have to cull my comfort show and all the Joss Whedon stuff on the same day?

I know that Glee and Smash and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend get mentioned a lot when we talk about this ep, but I got some major Eli Stone vibes from the first number.
Never forget that they let Victor Garber sing a George Michael song and it was amazing.

I love when Petra and Jane are friendly and apparently I have a lot of residual election anxiety so I spent most of this ep being super uncomfortable.
I loved that they both had different eras of Hillary hair during the debate though.
That scene with Jane and Raf realizing that they didn't screw up Matelio was just

Yeah, Sulu's husband and daughter showed up quite a bit. I think he was even played by the film's writer.

Did anyone see the livestream of the SXSW Harmonquest? Because it is amazing. Can't wait to see how they do the animation on that.

This episode just solidified my belief that April subconsciously believes that Samuel's death is something that only happened to her. Her getting pissy at Jackson when he talked about the loss with another grieving father made me wonder if she had any empathy at all for him.
They've sort of done this, "We're super

Hellfire is just the best damn villain song. The decision to bundle it on the soundtrack with Quasimodo's sweet, beautiful love song was a great choice. It's just loveliness followed immediately by the creepiest, most intense song.
Even the chipmunk version kind of gives me chills.

Maybe they'll do what Cinderella did. They had Lily James and Helena Bonham Carter sing the original songs over the credits. I think that worked pretty well.
I'm way more curious as to what this movie is gonna do with Mushu.

I think the reception has been sufficiently buzzy. This pilot seems to be the one all the critics in my twitter feed are talking about. I wonder if Amazon takes that into account when they're deciding.

Maybe it's just cause I'm a huge Slings & Arrows fan and I have a bias, but I liked the Lenny Bruce stuff. Also I love this show and need to see her stupid husband's reaction to Midge becoming a comedy star. Which I suppose is my way of asking you to vote for it on Amazon.

This week on I Have Feelings About The Catch:
Zoe from Firefly and the Master from Doctor Who have a weird sort of chemistry and that is a sentence I never thought I'd type.
I don't care about Hacker Girl and the Boy Friday's relationship, even if you throw in a love triangle with evil George from Grey's Anatomy.
I will

I feel as though there was an entire episode dedicated to the fundamental differences in their characters and how that meant they would never make it as a couple.
Or did I completely misinterpret that ep?

Preaching to the choir, man.
But he's been trying to make Inhumans happen for years. This is his baby, the one he pressured Feige to make.
That's why it's weird that it's Buck he's getting to run his pet project. You'd think he'd choose someone with a better track record.

I'm not sure if she murdered her husband outright, but maybe she feels guilty about what happened. If that's the case, I wonder if we'll see Sam soon.

I assume that James is in the big house with Suzanna, because that's part of her revenge plan against Ernestine.
But Rosalee said she's going to try and rescue her mother and brother soon. She's in for a bit of a nasty shock when she gets back to Macon.

So. Who do we think are the next guests on Stine's vision quest?

It would be worth the binge watch for the amazing cast alone, but it's also fucking fantastic. I'm genuinely jealous that you get to watch it for the first time.

During that scene with Rosalee and Elizabeth, I just made peace with the fact that they weren't really gonna cover up Jurnee Smollett's pregnancy.
But Holy Shit! They wrote in Jurnee Smollett's pregnancy!
Lost count of how many times I gasped during this episode.
I love you, Underground.
