Given how much this project means to Ike Perlmutter, I'm genuinely surprised that he isn't taking more care with the property.
Maybe his focus is just on getting it out there as fast as possible to…I don't know.
Counter X-Men?
Name recognition so the comics will sell?
I'm not filled with confidence here.

…Is that Flea?

He's also directed Why We're Killing Gunther starring Arnold Schwarznegger. So that's coming.
I think it sounds like a lot of fun. But I'm both a huge fan of cheesy 90s action movies and Taran Killam so I'm pretty biased.

He's amazing in Hamilton. I was really surprised at how great a singer he is.

Because I don't know where else to say this…The Catch is really good in a USA Characters Welcome sort of way.
John Simm going full ham on everything is never a bad thing.

I feel as though having 13 seasons of interns and residents doing surgeries puts kind of a dent into this storyline.

Yeah…that scene was weird.
No, "Oh hey, you decided to talk to Owen. Good for you!".
Even if she can't pick up on social cues, that's a hell of a thing to miss.
The writing in this episode was odd.

But that's her whole deal isn't it? She spent her entire life becoming super doctor and never got to go through the social stuff growing up. She's socially awkward as fuck and is fully aware of it.

Isn't everyone in that house enabling Amelia's crappy behavior though?

You know in movies and tv where they tell you how amazing this artist/musician/writer is and how this thing they've made is a masterpiece? But they can't actually make a masterpiece so they have to keep telling you how amazing it is?
I dunno why but this season keeps making me think of that trope.
I'm so ready for this

I really don't get the level of vitriol for Maggie here.
I get that she has a terrible subplot where all she did was whine. And it did make me want to shake her really hard but it didn't make me hate her.
Did I miss something in the earlier seasons where Maggie did something really terrible? Every week this comment

And they're led by Astrid!
I swooned when she showed up.

You know…I'm really excited for the other two projects ( Basically all I'm listening to these days is Cynthia Erivo and Viola Davis is Viola Davis.) but right now, I'm having a hard time believing either of them is going to top the Underground version.
If they don't fuck this up, they're going to have a whole season to

I think we're getting three Harriet Tubman stories. Aisha Hinds in Underground, Cynthia Erivo on the big screen, and Viola Davis on HBO.
Aisha Hinds and Cynthia Erivo fangirling each other on twitter is the most adorable thing.

I tried watching Godfather III without him once or twice…Apparently the non-stop commentary is burned into my head forever.

So…what does this mean for Ethel on Riverdale?

I think he's also one of the bad guys in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Diner Guy's doing fine.

Do people hate Andy Garcia in that movie? I can't really formulate an opinion on Godfather Andy Garcia because every time I watch it my dad yells at Sofia Coppola like she can hear him.

I was hoping for Margaery and Peggy as the other Shaw siblings in the Fast movies but I will take them as Mission Impossible baddies.

McQuarrie was on the Empire podcast and said something about how he would only do this movie if he could make it like it was a completely different director.
He did a really good job of selling me on a movie that hasn't started filming yet.
