The thing I've always liked about the way Donna leaves the show is that it's really as close as serial TV can get to sacrifice.

Everything I know about this series/writer/set of books comes from this article, but didn't Grant Morrison do basically this exact same story four years ago? Secret society determined to erode Batman's will, mysterious connections to the Waynes (are they more sinister than we've been lead to believe?!), a mastermind

Here's the thing: There's no real point in reviewing a decade-old sketch show UNLESS you're going to examine it seriously as a pop cultural artifact. Otherwise, you're just posting a list of funny premises and quotes, and there's no real point in paying a writer to do that, that stuff is all over the Internet already.

The brilliance of the Ann jokes is that they are never, ever intentional. Michael would NEVER say something hurtful like that to his son on purpose - but god, does his subconscious hate her.

Lindsay's intelligence tends to fluctuate a lot over the course of the series. She's actually fairly smart, I think, she just has an extremely small reference pool because she doesn't care about things that aren't her. I could see Anne Frank making it through the cloud, though.

I always find it really odd that that guy (Toronto artist Michael Comeau) is a real guy Bryan O'Malley just happens to know, and now exists alongside all the video game weirdness of the Scott Pilgrim universe in most people's minds.
