I swear, I think the most amazing thing Onstad ever pulled off was getting me to give a shit about Todd's emotions during the North Korean Magical Realism story.

One of these days you guys are going to get a stern letter from PETA for beating this dead horse for so long.

God damn are Four Lions and In The Loop funny.

Am I the only one who reads this an intentional comic juxtaposition of Eastwood's more recent Oscar-baity films with his brief past life as the straight man to an animal?

Edward James Olmos is the most dangerous game.

Uh…. really?

If the Razzies were an actual academic discussion of terrible films, nobody would pay attention because it would be kind of boring.

It would be more fun if he stopped making movies, and just did the Punch-Drunk Love thing where someone who actually knows how to write and direct to his actual, real strengths as an actor used him in something every four years.

Should we have the Oscar mailed to Loch Ness?

Sometimes it's fun to just make some jokes about stuff! WEIRD.

I can't tell if you're being ironically dumb about Rabin's ironic dumbness. You win, Internet Ghosts. You win.

Madness. The Great Undiscovered Project is the greatest of all things, and I say that as someone who is not always 100% of the Tompkast.

Clearly not the real Doug Benson, as he does not have an avatar that is a picture of a marijuana pot leaf.

Should have brought in Jesse Camp to replace him.

Are you joking? There are thousands . People start comedy podcasts all the time, and a lot of them are great. You just haven't heard of them because, while talent is distributed pretty widely across the country, fame is centered in LA and New York.

Have they taken some night classes or anything since the first few episodes? Because the ones I listened to were mostly people who didn't know anything talking about how they don't know anything.

Have to come in as a dissenting voice here. From the last two years, we've got the Adrian Schoolcraft story, the Mike Daisey story, the Suicide Bridge story, the Job Creation episode, the Pennsylvania fracking episode, the Petty Tyrant episode, the story of the Iraqi translator…

Sounds like different people have different tastes in physical attractiveness!

I don't know, do you really want every person on a podcast to be a joker? The best DLMs have a good mix of strong voices and quiet voices. Also, in this specific case, they tend to be pretty good at Leonard Maltin. Also, pretty in general. (something something Alison Brie AV Club creepiness)

Internet Morality Cop with a reminder: If someone makes a negative comment about something you don't like, they aren't making a comment about you!
