I was jealous of the vinyl edition but grateful that the CD booklet was so well done. The photos are great and really add to it feeling like a classic 80s indie album.

Six CD changer AND a tape deck in my 2003 car. Who wants to fucking touch me?

In reading some of the various defenses of pirating, I ran across a number of "I'm not paying $20 for a CD". Which made their exasperation understandable, because it would be a lot of trouble to hop into your Flux-Capacitor Limited Edition DeLorean and travel back to 1999.

That's the kind of thinking that inspired him to put a solid gold toilet in his house.

@avclub-bbb3af3d466d7231aa738ff95762091d:disqus I really get where you're coming from. I remember liking the Corum stories more than Elric, even though I was geeked on Elric because I was so into D&D at the time. And I don't think that Elric would work in the vernacular, I just think Moorcock didn't pull off the style…

I don't think Elric and Corum are written very well, though. I appreciate what Moorcock was trying to do, and the storylines are incredibly creative. I love the concepts behind the work, the tone, etc., but mechanically they just struck me as a mess. The dialog in particular always seemed so stilted.

Completely agree. I read the Elric novels and the Corum series when I was in high school and loved them. Went back and read Elric in my mid-20s and couldn't get past the God-awful writing. His concepts are really creative but the prose makes Lovecraft seem restrained.

Yeah, that was a hilarious special. Not to mention her routine on how women wipe themselves was very informative when I had my daughter (THE MORE YOU KNOW!).

Agree, he is still awesome. I love just going back through his archives and reading random reviews.

I have no problem with them being geeky, and I have been a Rush geek for 30+ years. It's just funny how every review I've read uses the word. Maybe it's in the AP Style Manual under "Rush—Band"?
