Yeah, whenever I mentioned who I think the 5 best metal bands of all time are— Sabbath, Priest, Maiden, Slayer, and Pantera— everyone gets all, "UM, METALLICA???" And… no. Metallica are Metallica, but Metallica goes down easy. Plus they've been an awful band much much longer than they were ever a good one.

Eh, it's like the Watchmen movie: too faithful to be anything of its own.

Trendkill's my favorite, too, but I've come to love this one a lot more than I used to.

Fully true in America. I'm still shocked that that album debuted at #1. That would be a little too vicious for a Hot 100 topping album TODAY, let alone in Toni Braxton's America.

You don't like Pantera, you don't really like metal. Even if you think your The Sword vinyl says otherwise.

That was beautiful, O'Neal. Thank you.

Has there been a discussion already about how there's at least one fairly unsettling moment involving pedophilia in every Rick & Morty episode (well, at least the ones I've seen, which is almost all of them?) I simultaneously admire it and am put off by it.

That would certainly explain a lot of his life up to now…

"Anyway, one Dan Harmon renewal announcement down, one to go."

In Mia Farrow's defense, he did cheat on her with her daughter. Granted, dragging his name through the mud for stuff he didn't do, well…

"It ends with the promise that 'this piece will be my final word on the entire matter,' though it will surely not be the Internet's final word."

When your platform is "too many people who won't vote for us can vote"…

There was a point 30-35 years ago where a chunk of a country really was that far to the right. But it's (lol) progressively moved closer to the center, as that's what society does, and they've changed NOTHING about their beliefs. So this generation of people who were told they were part of a "silent majority" are

Nixon had more conviction, I'll say that.

Mitt's a rich guy who likes being rich. Like remember when he fucked up and said things like, "I don't follow NASCAR but I know a lot of NASCAR owners." and didn't sound like a robot? I found those moments where he let his comically grandiose privilege out, because he actually sounded like a person. He'd been raised

I'd probably respect him for that, though. And I did not like him (I live in Massachusetts). Hell, I don't like him so much I voted for Obama.

"Please Hammer, don't hurt 'em."

Heh. The same thing came to mind when I posted that, odduck, but I was a tool and didn't give credit where credit was due.

Bahahahaha. Shit, I already forgot about that.
