A childhood of watching this show led to substantial disappointment upon actually visiting Puerta Vallarta.

Nah, nice try Jean-Luc, but he has in fact made the situation worse.  Nail in the coffin type stuff.  Dismal fiscal situation exacerbated to the point where no plausible growth scenario will restore it in four years, eight years, probably your lifetime, maybe ever.  You can probably figure out what that will mean

The film was entertaining with lots of great images, but there were a lot of problems with it.  Yes, Jack Nicholson playing Crazy Jack Nicholson (thanks for damaging The Departed, too, bud)  was a big problem but the biggest for me (and not often mentioned) was that Halloran (sp?) gets killed, and in such a stupid

Boring, but probably the best explanation.

Time for some fanfic!  Actually there are probably would be some good stories in there.  My impression was that earth was out of its normal orbit for whatever reason…I think I imagined we got clobbered by a giant asteroid or somesuch.

Good points. Too, I think Cracked did a list wherein they noted that once the super giant ship/ships lost power they or their debris would smash into earth and cause further devastation.

Seriously.  And look at what we got now.

Oh, man, time to put my Sassoon track suit on eBay.

When it came out, one of my friends was enraged, he was like"WTF is this crap!?!?!"  He wanted License to Ill 2.  Anyhow, I gave it a listen and I told him he was nuts and in 20 years the album would be considered a stone-cold classic.

I'm surprised they didn't cease issue of License to Ill…once people started telling them they were "serious", they couldn't run away from that one fast enough…

What?  No…I thought people who refused to pay for music and other IP were changing the paradigm and saving the world and stuff.  At least, that's how it was explained to me…

So what do we all think of Beth Ditto's physique?

Yup, same here.  I figured when The Goot passed on a payday, I'd best stay away.

They sell that Golden swill in Canada?  I thought they just pawned that off on us…

I rather thought that the first Kung-Fu bit was in 2, but I hope I'm wrong because I'll be sort of ashamed to know this…

Whatever else may be true, we've got Windy City Heat.

One thing I like vs. the books (I'm behind the show in the books) is that they went with conventional facial hair for Tywin.  The style described would have been distracting…

Here's hoping he'll break down in tears at some point.  You know, I'm glad the actor is relatively young and will change a bit, because (unless one were supremely talented) the role of Joffrey could be a real millstone for one's career…

Another hilarious screw-up for shiftless ne'er do well Theon!  That kid is D-U-M dumb.

So is it fine, or is it weak and hate-able?
