I think your last line there is an example of a little violence going a long way.

I diagnosed myself and cured myself, but I'm a special case; there are a lot of self-diagnosed AS sufferers on the internet that will never find a cure.

Hobos wear pants.  You're talking about a bum.

Another Canadian glory hound bites the Dust(inR)!

I think closure and monies were factors, if I'm remembering an interview with him correctly.

Winni-what?

Well, let's hope Dinosaur Jr continues on their present course.  Quality new stuff, not shying away from the old stuff, even an "album" concert.  If there is a "right" way to do the reunion thing, then I think they've got it.

True enought, UMD, and of course natural enough given the simple geography…perhaps I should have said something along the lines of, "Not a state typically associated with Reconstruction/swarms of carpetbaggers, etc."

Yeah, me too.  I was never bullied by my peers, but in middle school there was this sub-class of moron giants that had been held back for one or more years…of course at that point the physical difference between an 11 and 13 or 14 can be huge, and these jerks could and would make your life miserable for no particular

I will say that I have seen enough surveillance videos of cars smashing into convenience stores that I would not put myself in front of a running vehicle under any circumstances.  Even if your mom is behind the wheel, accidents  happen.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty close to being played out…maybe it hit Iowa last?

There was (is, I guess) an old book called The Bully of Barkham Street that made the attempt.  I thought it was really good, but I was 10 when I read it.

Anyone that thinks malice is a uniquely human quality has never seen a truly destructive dog at work.

Illigetimi non carborundum!

Because he had a radio, no less!

Uh…yeah, you're right.  Wow.

Summer of Sam was an awful mess, but kind of fun, too.

Daues?

For as much as they try to play up the carpetbagger angle here, they should have set this show in a state that was actually in the Confederacy.  Kentucky doesn't really make the most sense for that.

Reagarding SoA, I thought the "Ireland" saeson (3, I think) was a big slip.  Haven't seen the next one yet.
