I believe Manny has expressed his love for cupcakes. Does that count?

Also, he seemed to really be playing those drums, which was awesomer.
I kind of thought maybe the dog locked him in there.
I prefer to switch between Idol and Modern Family on results night.
I think it's the producers, and not Crystal, who gets to decide when the family gets trotted out.
I want to start using "wet" like Simon, but I'm still not sure I've got a handle on the correct usage.
Also, for what it's worth, I think that especially country singers who write their own songs get a few extra points.
If you didn't know the song, as I really did not, it was just an interminable and stagey show tune. I second the official time of "for fucking ever."
Another fun fact:
That scene from Jamie Oliver's show about chicken fingers was nasty. What was even worse was that the kids all still said they would eat it after he ran the carcass through a blender and strained out the bones and cartilage. So why did you guys decide not to cover that show after the 1st ep?
I'm wondering about his motivations now…he was clearly working the sabotage angle earlier, but is this just a bigger version of it, or is he really switching teams? Going to a new school just to get laid seems a little hard to swallow, so to speak.
I don't even remember who won last year, but it must have been that Lambert fellow, right?
Bobby has (had) a bit more of a stupid streak, though. Manny just has the profile and the social awkwardness.
I'm sorry—I watched the show last night, but on Canadian TV…When did Jane Lynch perform "Vogue?" I don't remember seeing that at all. Was it a commercial, or did I just get up at the wrong moment?
That was the only one I could think of until they started singing the others one by one.
@ idiotking:
I dunno—I think she's a pretty good influence on the show. Not too jokey, but also always looking out for a good show—she's too nice, but then I have to admit that after a terrible start, I thought Andrew's performance got better. A lot of contestants started out square and picked up their game in the leter part of …
Wow, some un-ironic (?) love for Seacrest? I'm pleased…I think that's got to be a hard job.
He was the only mentor this season to say anything even remotely negative. He gets points for that in my book.
I thought Kara's comment was pretty astute—she can belt it out like a crazy person, but she has this other lounge-singer voice that she uses on the slow parts. I really want to like her, but her welcome is wearing out.
