"That just makes it stranger that in the final moments, he indicates either that he thinks their brief conversation about insurance expenses counts as softening her up, or he spoke to her offscreen. If the former, hilarious; if the latter, the episode did us a fairly big disservice by not showing us."

It was really nice to see Clara Mamet as Layla, though it reminds me that I miss The Neighbors.

At one point, I thought Jackie kind of sounded like Zelda Rubinstein. Which was neat, considering the episode's title is a play on the movie "Teen Witch."

Lots of great comic beats tonight, but possibly my favorite was May saying she likes Aida. Once everyone stops pretending she's human, there is going to be a wealth of "May's robotic personality" jokes.

As soon as Michael told Eleanor he wasn't supposed to be there, I knew he'd eventually get the idea he was the problem. And actually… we (characters and viewers alike) did kind of jump to the conclusion that Eleanor was the problem. Maybe Michael *is* the problem.

Trixie in Chloe's sunglasses was adorable, but even more so when she told her father "It's a good thing I like you." (Is that something Chloe once said to Trixie? I don't remember for sure, but it feels vaguely familiar. And it would be great character continuity.)
