The Critic was great, and also led to one of the best Simpsons episodes featuring my favorite McBain movie, "Let's Get Silly".

I should have checked further down before saying the exact same thing. It looks really cheap, and not in an eye-catching way like an [adult swim] show.

Still probably less depressing than the last two episodes of series two of the UK Office.

A Wilco fan nearly punched me for saying that Summerteeth is a pop record. I pointed out that it's basically an album long Brian Wilson tribute, but he kept saying, "Wilco's not fucking pop, man. They're real music. If they were pop they would get played on the radio." I felt especially vindicated the next day when

The Ike and Tinas would pose a serious threat if they could stop fighting themselves.

We grillin' tonight!

It was after. His inability to say anything about fire overloads his brain.

That's a miserable lie.

Hey, I don't owe you anything.

I guess Morrissey isn't a very charming man. I hope he hasn't started something he can't finish with this lawsuit. If his comments were supposed to be humorous, someone should tell him that that joke isn't funny anymore. But really, what difference does it make? Frankly, Mr. Shankly, I don't think he's got any great

Despite my active hate for Coldplay, Chris Martin actually seems like a pretty alright guy based on stuff like that, his Extras cameo and the Colbert interview.

The Dark Night was pretty good, but I had that same problem. There was a weird trend in superhero movies for a while that no one could acknowledge that being a superhero is pretty awesome. That's part of what makes the first two Spiderman movies great. They have all the stuff about "great responsibility" and people

Of course, Glee characters behave incredibly inconsistently, too, so it might just be Ryan Murphy

Bump music is usually just picked out by who ever's doing sound/editing unless there's a specific request. Rush might have requested it, but the more likely scenario is that Rush doesn't give a fuck about the bumpers and the editor likes Radiohead.

Obviously the only reason Bing failed was because it lacked Hammer, so this seems like a pretty foolproof plan.

I think even the weaker episodes are still pretty enjoyable.

And when they lifted the piano part from "Imagine" for the intro to "Don't Look Back In Anger". Although I think their most blatant theft was "Cigarettes & Alcohol", which is just a rewrite of "Bang A Gong (Get It On)".
