Why isn't the Flop House in the list of podcasts…?!

Dude, since the election I haven't been able to bring myself to listen to a lot of the political podcasts (Axe files, on the media, new yorker's political scene etc) … Kinda just retreated from the real world.

We Hate Movies have been featured more times than Flop House this year (maybe last year too), but I just can't get myself to check out this podcast, it feels like I'm cheating on the original peaches… I just don't feel like I'd be able to find better chemistry among three rad dudes talking about movies. I know I am in

A hundred times this. Chinese dishes rarely uses white meat…

The reaction Amy had after Rosa first suggested it to Holt was also brilliant. That flash of terror in her eyes.

the scene at the bar was just an act then? He seemed to be "down to clown" with Elliot.

So Julian is bi?

Just binged through all 10 episodes, not sure how I think of the ending… Really would be interested to see what avclub would say. Is there gonna be a second season?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way… The laughs are decent, and the way they dole out bits and pieces of the story is interesting, but just the characters are too intolerable. At first I thought Dory was okay, but she gets worse as the story goes on…

I do enjoy the show and the mystery, but my main gripe with this show is that everyone is just plain awful, super self-centered, to the point of being unbearable…

Man the flop house has been neglected by podmass these past several months, glad it was mentioned once again. It's been the one podcast i consistently look forward to fortnightly. Christian Mingle is another good episode if anyone needs more recommendation.

I feel like too much of the tv series is just shock value… The book really wasn't about that, it was more analytical and thoughtful in terms of presenting the alternate history.

I don't understand, are you guys covering the real o'neals now? Cuz last week episode was awesome.

plus one for using cat stevens in the trailer.

Oh my god, can I work at the AV Club, the first three movie listed in this article ALWAYS baffled me when people call it scary. I was more scared watching the first season of Hannibal than Silence of the Lamb. This is not to say these aren't good films, but I just didn't get why it was scary…

Omg I miss Ben Wyatt so much…

You guys should really start covering the real o'neals regularly, tonight's episode was amazing, plus the show is probably gonna get cancelled (fate of all the shows I like..) so you won't even have to put in that much effort.

I'm glad you guys included 28 Weeks Later, I first saw that opening in the theatre, I can't think of any film that had a better opening than that, with the perfect choice of music as a companion. My favorite scene is when he runs across the field and the camera pans around and switches perspective, I don't know why,

Chris and White Josh needs to be part of the main cast.
