They made a point of making that episode about Nina's use of her powers being an addiction.  She was on a real bender there, and headed for the "rock bottom" - she attempted suicide at the end - so alienating people while under one's vice is pretty realistic to me.  I didn't see it as shock value as much as

Well, they do work together.  It's pretty hard to totally not speak to a co worker.  And I don't think the photic strobe thing "amps up" the powers so much as refines them and makes them much more controllable.  For someone who couldn't leave her room, or kiss a man, Jessica is suddenly empowered and probably just

So, is Stanton's only super power that he is immortal?  Ergo, he has been around so long that he is super smart?  He said he fought in every war since the Civil War, so maybe military strategy has some place on his resume.  He's pretty charismatic, and convinces people to his point of view pretty easily.  I love that

What's wrong with "In The Soup"?  I love that movie.

Is anybody paying attention to the fact that weed is still illegal, even in California?  There is no "going legit" in the weed world?

Yeah, I saw Shoshanna Stern on the cast credits, and when Silas was like, "Hey!  You got a bathroom?  What are you, deaf?  Hey!" I kind of presumed that she was going to be the docent.  I was glad to see her.  She was part of what made the show really resonate when I started watching it on dvd a few years ago.

"Pretty girl walks into a room…"  "Pretty girl walks around a concealing wall into a room…"  Every scene of this show has Bo walking into a room, usually mid sentence.  But there are only about four rooms used regularly, so it gets a little closed off.  That is the tyranny of low budgets, I guess, and the victory of
