Yeah, I just don't like those guys.  Something about grown men finishing each other's sentences and being twins just puts off a "We blow each other because it's like if we could blow ourselves we could so what's the difference?" creep factor.

He was just on Alphas a couple of weeks ago, and he was on Southland, but that was probably farther back than I am imagining.  He used to be a negro, because "Everybody loves black people!"

You know what bugged me in the movie?  They had a color television.  That and the look of being a NAMBLA sponsored softcore really turned me off.

I read the book in the 70's, when I was a junior high Greaser, and it was epic.  My daughter read it a couple of years ago, as a junior high pretty much a Soc, and thought it epic as well.  I read Rumble Fish as an adult and it was weak.  Didn't really care for The Outsiders movie, but loved the book.  Loved the

Funny that you would mention the theme song. In the first two seasons - a kind of 50's era half hour Freaks and Geeks show, the opening song was "Rock Around the Clock," by Bill Haley and the Comets - which was also the opening song of American Graffiti, and, I believe, Blackboard Jungle.  Using Rock Around The Clock

Yeah, I really love that movie.  When Slim Pickens gets shot, he goes to a riverbank and watches the sun setting.  I can't help but think Mike had seen the movie at some point in his life.

Having been a parent for 26 years, I find the instant availability of day care to be the single biggest demand for the suspension of disbelief in any television show.
