The amazing non-digital effects of the original are the main reason I am so pissed about the new one being a CGI-fest.

I really liked it a lot. It had some good scares and really the only AAAAHHHH JUMP SCARE was the one in the trailer and that little bit was just the beginning to one of the best scenes in the film.

Saw Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, 30 Minutes or Less, and finally got around to starting Sherlock and Misfits, and went through a lot of Arrested Development again while I packed for my upcoming move. All in all a satisfying weekend.

I thought Don't Be Afraid of the Dark was quite good, but it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. However, I think it would fucking scare the shit out of a child.

I don't think it is actually Bloody Mary, I think they just used the kids doing the Bloody Mary thing to get the shot of them in front of the mirror with the lights off and such.
